  25. I assume (though I'm no xdvi guru) 
  26. that it is looking for PK files, not TFM's.

  28. I don't think xdvik is set up to create PK's from MF's by default.

  30. I just wonder too if there is ever confusion 
  31. between 300dpi and 600dpi PK's --
  32. I mean if you are using 600dpi PK's for dvips
  33. but xdvi is looking for 300dpi PK's.
  34. But I fear I am just showing my ignorance here.
